Why WMA?

Your financial support and generosity plant seeds that will enable WMA to grow in our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ in global missions through local sustainability and multiplication. Your giving is much more than a financial decision. It’s a path for participating in the Great Commission!


What Type of Organization is WMA?

World Mission Associates is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.


Is My Donation Tax Deductible?

All WMA donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.


What Types of Gifts Does WMA Receive?

WMA accepts cash gifts via check or credit card and non-cash gifts such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities. Both cash and non-cash gifts are tax deductible.


How Is WMA’s Mission Funded?

WMA is funded by donations from individuals, religious and nonprofit organizations, private and public foundations, and grants.


How Can I Give To WMA?

WMA accepts donations online, by phone, or by mail. Donations can be gifted via:

  1. Personal Check (or e-check) (Made Payable to: World Mission Associates)
  2. One-Time Credit Card or Debit Card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express
  3. Recurring Credit Card or Debit Card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express
  4. One-Time ACH or EFT
  5. Recurring ACH or EFT

For check donations, please note on the memo line the WMA missionary, ministry fund, or project for designation. Please make your check payable to World Mission Associates and mail your donation to:

Credit Card & Debit Card Donations

WMA accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express using a secure system and measures to protect you as the donor.

ACH (Automated Clearing House) also known as EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer)

An ACH donation provides a giving opportunity to WMA’s cause on a designated date each month, quarter, year, etc. The funds are automatically withdrawn from your provided bank account according to your designation. You may revise your ongoing donation at any time.

How Can I Give Online?

You can give to WMA online by using WMA’s Simple Give software platform by clicking the “Give Now” button under the donate menu.


What is WMA’s Simple Give Software Platform?

Simple Give is an online donation software company that specializes in helping non-profits process their online donations. Simple Give uses a secure and reliable software platform to process all personal checks, credit card, debit card, and ACH (e-check) for electronic (EFT) donations. Simple Give allows you to easily set-up multiple recurring payments and donations.


Where Can I Give Online?

To give to WMA online, please go to wmausa.org and click on the Donate menu tab in the top right-hand corner. When you arrive at the Donate main page, please choose the “Online” giving option under Ways To Give. (Change if the Ways To Give changes.) From there, you will automatically be connected to our Simple Give Donation Software Platform, which processes one-time or recurring check, credit card, debit card, ACH or EFT donations.


Can I Manage My Own Online Giving Account With WMA?

You are also invited to establish an online giving account through our donation platform. Whether you give once or many times, WMA recommends taking a few extra minutes to establish your own online giving account. You will be able to log into your giving account any time and obtain your historical donations processed online.


Will I Receive A Donation Email Confirmation After I Make A Donation?

Upon making a donation to WMA, you will automatically receive an online donation confirmation email sent to the email address provided. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact our offices at (717) 298-4198 or wma@wmausa.org


How Long Does It Take To Process My Donation?

On the average, it takes approximately 2-3 days for your online check, credit card, debit card, or ACH donation to be processed. WMA recommends expecting your funds to be drafted from your account the same day your donation is entered online.


What Is A Recurring Donation?

Recurring donations are donations established on a recurring basis whether monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc. Each recurring donation can be gifted on a specific date through a designated donation payment such as a check, credit card, debit card, ACH or EFT.

How Can I Manage & Change My Recurring Donations Information?

You can easily manage your recurring donations by going to our website and logging into your giving account. In your account, you can:

  1. Manage the frequency of your donation
  2. Assign your gift to a fund
  3. Research donation methods
  4. Update personal information
  5. Change login and password information
  6. Download giving history

While accessing your account, you may change the amount you want to donate, the date, frequency, personal information, and your check, credit card, debit card, ACH or EFT information.


Will I Received Recurring Donation Receipts?

You will receive an email confirmation receipt once your donation has been gifted online. Within 30-45 days of each recurring donation, you will receive a mailed receipt, unless you prefer an emailed version, for your records.


How Can I Cancel My Recurring Donation?

You may cancel your recurring donation anytime by contacting our offices by phone, mail, or email and submitting your cancellation request. Your request will be processed with 72 hours of your request. If your cancellation request was submitted within 72 hours of your next recurring donation, your cancellation will apply to the following recurring donation date.


How Can I Give By Phone or Mail?

WMA gladly accepts donations by phone or mail. To make a phone or mail donation, simply go to our Donate section of our website and download WMA Donation By Phone Form or WMA Donation By Mail Form. For a phone donation, please have the information requested in the WMA Donation By Mail Form available during your call. For a mail donation, please complete the WMA Donation By Mail Form and mail your completed form and donation to the address listed on the form.


How Can I Make An Honor or Memorial Donation?

You may make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one by calling our offices to provide the necessary information and provide payment.

How Can I Opt Out Of WMA Solicitation Calls, Emails, or Mailings?

You may opt out of WMA’s phone, email, or mail outreach programs by calling (717) 298-4198 or emailing wma@wmausa.org and to unsubscribe yourself from our phone, mail, and email list.


Is My Personal Information Protected?

WMA does not share, rent, or provide our donor information or identity with other organizations or ministries.


Is My Credit Card and Banking Information Secure?

All donation transactions are encrypted with 256 bit from the donor’s browser to WMA bank. Once the donation transaction is complete, all payment information is erased.
